荷兰语条件句的运用

ik zou + 不定式 we zouden + 不定式

je zou + 不定式 jullie zouden + 不定式

hij zou + 不定式 ze zouden + 不定式

我们使用条件句来表示假设的状态。常用的形式是用If如果某种情况是were，then那么某种假设的情况就可能会是would be这样的结果。

Will 和 would

对于更为实际的情况（不是那么“虚拟”），我们也可以用将来时：如果If某种情况是are这样,那么then某种假设情况就会成为结果。所以，一般这种情况，荷语中通常会使用一般现在时.

现在时和将来时

尽管我们使用zullen的过去式(zouden)，但是我们所指的假设情况是发生在现在或是将来的。如果是假设过去的情况，我们使用条件完成时.

If - then如果……那么的情形

对于在if从句中的动词，英语中常使用虚拟语气（不是'he was' 而是 'he were'）

Datzouik niet doen als ik jouwas. 如果我是你，我就不会那样做。I would not do that if I were you.

Als niet zo verlegenwas,zouhij meer vriendenhebben. 如果他不那么羞怯的话，他就会有更多的朋友。If he were not so shy, he would have more friends.

有时候，if－then的这种结构并不是很明显：

Wezoudenons maarvervelen(als we er te lang bleven) 我们多半会觉得闷（如果我们呆太长时间的话）We would only be bored (if we stayed there too long)

Datzouwel heel vreemdzijn. (als het waar is wat je zegt) 那会很奇怪（如果你说的是真的话）That would be really strange (if what you are saying is true)

在英语中，“would”只会出现在结果（then）从句中。类似于"If I would..., then I would..."（如果我会……，那我就会……）的句子在英语中不是正确的：我们不能同时在两个从句中使用条件时。

但是，在荷语中，这种结构就很普遍。也就是说，下面这些句子，无论你用以下那种方法，都表示“如果我还有一次机会，我还是会作出同样的选择”（If I had to choose again, I would choose the same）。

Als ik opnieuwmoest kiezen, danzouik hetzelfdekiezen. If I had to choose again, I would choose the same.

Als ik opnieuwzou moetenkiezen, dankoosik hetzelfde. If I would have to choose again, I chose the same.

Als ik opnieuwzou moetenkiezen, danzouik hetzelfdekiezen. If I would have to choose again, I would choose the same.

Als ik opnieuwmoest kiezen, dankoosik hetzelfde. If I had to choose again, I chose the same.

最后一个例子说明，在荷语中表达一种假设事件时，可以在两个从句中都使用一般过去时。

Supposed-to-be 情形

Zouden还可以用在当我们谈论某件依照我们的规范、计划或期望应该发生的事情。

Hijzouvandaag op tijdkomen(maar hij was wéér te laat). 今天他本该准时到的。（可实际上他又迟到了）He was supposed to be on time today (but he was late again).

Zezoudeneroverophouden(maar nu hebben ze het er weer over). 他们不该再谈论这件事情的。（但是现在他们又在谈论）They were supposed to stop talking about it (but now they are talking about it again).

Hijzoutot januariblijven. 他本该呆到一月份的。He was going to stay until January.

敬语形式

我们也可以用zouden，这样显得更为礼貌。

比较礼貌的表达要求时，一般我们会加副词‘graag’（请），相当于英语中的I would like...。本文由汤尼语言中心原创发布，转载请注明原文地址。

我们也可以利用问句的形式用zou(den)来表达建议："Would it not be better if..." （如果……会好点么？）

Zouhet niet makkelijkerzijnals je gewoon een schaargebruikte? 如果你只用剪刀，会不会简单一些？Would it not be easier if you simply used scissors?

Should

在荷语中没有和should对应的单词。一般使用两个动词的组合（zouden moeten）来表达同样的意思。英语中“I should work”在荷语中是ik zou moeten werken。所以，如果我们把不定式moeten(必须，不得不to must, to have to) 放在zouden后, 那就和英语中的should'' 一样了。

Ikzoumijn tentamens betermoeten voorbereiden. 我本该更好的准备考试的。I should prepare for my tests better

Wezoudendaar niet te langmoeten blijven. 我们不该在那里呆那么长时间的。We should not stay there too long.

Dat zou jemoeten weten. 你应该知道那件事情的。You should know that.

需要注意的是，我们不是总把should翻译成zouden moeten。如果所要求的动作是紧急的，或者象非常清楚的命令，那么一般来说用“moeten”就足够了。

Jemoetje identiteitsbewijs altijd bij jedragen. 你应该一直随身携带身份证。You should always carry your ID.
