recruit 用法大全攻略

1.recruit 的用法相对简单,是及物动词,后面可以直接跟上「招聘」的对象。

We plan to recruit more staff this year. 我们准备在今年招聘更多新员工。

Most of the workers will be recruited locally. 大多数的工人将会在当地招聘。

Peter has been recruited as sales manager. Peter 被聘为销售经理。(这里也可以使用 employedas)

注:recruit 的名词形式:recruitment。

有意思的是,recruit 不仅仅可以指公司里的招聘,还可以是类似俱乐部这样的团体招收新的成员,比如:

They recruited several new members to the club. 他们为俱乐部招纳了几位新的成员。

2.recruit 作为名词

recruit作为名词同样常用,可以指刚刚加入一家公司的成员。

She's responsible for training new recruits. 她负责培训新员工。(注:recruit虽然本身就有「新」的隐含义,但实际运用过程中,表示「新员工」,还是会在 recruit 前加上 new。)
